How do you know how many calories you're eating especially if you are always eating out? Seems like an impossible task to find something on the menu that sounds healthy, right? Well, I'm here to tell you that you have options. As a former waitress myself, I can tell you that most restaurants will serve a simple grilled chicken breast or Salmon with a baked potato and steamed vegetables. Depending on the size of the breast, the size of the potato, and the toppings on the potato, this dish is around 400 calories. Compare that to a Chicken Marsala for 1900 calories. Wow. And that's before the bread sticks, the salad, the wine, and the dessert!
